It appears I spoke too soon on Monday
. The CXM Underground, as the mysterious organization bills itself, infiltrated our servers and deposited a tasty strip
revealing the sad sad truth of the CXM boys's skill at "flirting." It's not pretty, but the truth rarely is.
Anyway, I'm writing this Monday night, so unfortunately I don't have much to give you in the way of news. I should be in Switzerland by the time you read this, once again guest of the previously mentioned Ned. I'm spending about two weeks out of Edinburgh, but I will be around for this week keeping you in communication with CXM. Next week should see one of the other boys covering for me, as well as plenty of strips. Hopefully, we're back on the schedule, and can stay that way regardless of our geographic dispersion.
BTW, if this newspost is substandard, feel free to blame Ned who seems to have a penchant for adjusting my chair height as I'm writing this. He wants me to make it short as we have a 9AM flight to catch tomorrow morning. So it's all his fault, basically.
While I am short on info for you, I do have one very very frightening but interesting story via the Man That Is John Brooks. John has referred me to this article from TIME magazine, which is scarily reminiscent of an anime series called Serial Experiments Lain. If you happen to be familiar with this series, John recommends you take a look at the end of the article, in particular the last line. I'm too freaking scared to repeat it for you here; the world is going in a strange direction, and this seems to confirm it.
As I warned you, that's about all I have for you today. One other note which won't, sadly, mean much to most of you is that another great film actor has passed away. Anthony Quinn starred in over one hundred and fifty films including classics such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Guns of Navarone. He had a powerful onscreen presence that made him a joy to watch. He will be sadly missed.
See you Friday.
Dan Moren is off to Europe against his better judgment.
Quote of the Day: "Thy mother mated with a scorpion."
