Well, it's time once more to play...Try Your Luck. If you happen to be lucky, you may find a strip behind Door #1. If you are not so lucky, you'll find Friday's strip, a good one, but perhaps not new to you.

CXM is being thrown into just a little teensy-weensy bit of disorganization this week, and I apologize for that. Jason, our fearless artist, is unavailable for work as he prepares to move locales from the sweet idyllic urban paradise of Boston to that hell hole of all disrepute that exists in the world, New York City (if you happen to be from New York, I mean no offense, but I do offer my condolences). I can only imagine what they'll do to him there.

Meanwhile, Tony has joined the ranks of Kai by disappearing off to God knows where (and to all you forum-goers, his South Africa earring is just a fad). That leaves just me, your humble reporter.

I've just finished up a weekend with my relatives visiting in Scotland, so I've been a little out of the loop. In addition, it doesn't appear as though much as actually happened, so I guess I've been lucky. What I have noticed (most disturbingly), is that our traffic is sharply tapering off. Here's a little graph, courtesy of our often glitchy counter:

As you can see, since last Monday, our hits have been steadily declining. I can think of only two reasons for this: either you're not fans of black cherry soda, or school's let out. I'm leaning towards the latter, but it wouldn't take much to tip me over into the black cherry camp. That stuff burns. Anyway, just a reminder that although school may be out (no more homework, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks), CXM will continue on. We'll still be attempting to bring you the best-quality Funny for the lowest possible cost, and that's the CXM Guarantee*.

Having said that, I thought I'd let you know that there is a large possibility that there won't be any strips this week. I'm not sure yet, I'll try to update you as word gets to me, but remember that I'm pretty far out of the geographic loop here, so bear with me. In other news, this somewhat adversely affects the CXM Tell-a-thon that I announced last Friday. Please, continue to share CXM with friends, and direct them to our fully stocked Funny freezer, as well as our choicest selections. They won't be disappointed.

Until Wednesday, I'm signing off.

Dan Moren is 3000 miles away, so you can't hurt him. Nyah nyah.

Quote of the Day: "Oh, I know, this must be so hard. 'Oh no, two women love me! They're both gorgeous and sexy! My wallet's too small for my fifties AND MY DIAMOND SHOES ARE TOO TIGHT!'
-Matthew Perry, Friends

*Offer void where prohibited. Void in 49 out of the 50 of the states...except for Tennessee. Must be 192 or older to qualify. Some restrictions may apply. See package for details.
