Thank George It's Friday! Actually, sad to say, my last dinner experience before leaving the States was in a TGI Friday's. The company was more than pleasant, but I could not help but be reminded of the movie Office Space
wherever I looked. If you don't know why, you should definitely rent that movie.
Today's strip is the first strip of March. In honor of this fine month, we have decided to "come in" like the proverbial lion. Perhaps, at a later date, we shall even depart much like the oft-mentioned lamb. Wait and see.
Things seem to be going interestingly for everybody else. I intended to ask Kai about the Seattle earthquake, since he is in CXM's West Coast Headquarters in that area. Unfortunately, he has been driving these pertinent questions out of my mind by demanding from me the correct lines from Star Wars and random French nouns.
Meanwhile, Jason is serving his time today. Don't worry, it's for the good of the country! Yup, the J-man may take his place with eleven others of America's finest as a juror. I hope it's not a tough case, as he usually has trouble choosing where to eat dinner. Our luck goes with you! Or, on the off chance that you'd like to be dismissed, just tell 'em about "Blackie." No, I think I'll leave that up to your imaginations, you devious little readers.
Well, we've been at it once again! That's right, we're still expanding the page. Now up, for your enjoyment, is the Extras page. The little button at the top also works, in case you were wondering, thanks to Kai-sama. We've also stocked it full of goodies for you to enjoy, and more will hopefully be forthcoming! And no, we don't have an Autobot fetish, thank you for asking.
The forums have been slow the last couple of days, I know. And finally, this is one thing that I actually will not claim responsibility for. That's right: it's not Dan's fault! How many times have you heard those words? Whew. Anyway, EZ Board has assured its users that they are working to fix the problems, caused by rogue elements of their ISP. We hope this is the case, or else the one word post (that would be a link if EZ Board was cooperating) thread may suffer dire consequences.
And now, one of my most anticipated movies of the year has finally debuted its teaser trailer! What, in my humble opinon, is one of the greatest fantasy series I've ever read is being turned into a feature film due out this November (and right on track to compete with that other fantasy movie). That's right, the Harry Potter trailer is out on the net, and I have to say, it looks fabulous. One of my friends here refuses to even look at the trailer; she claims that she is a "visual reader", and doesn't want her conceptions challenged. Paugh! I say. Bring on Hagrid, Quidditch, and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named! I am all over it. If you haven't read the books (and I know Jason has put them at the end of his very long reading list due to my constant nagging), then get over to your local library or Amazon.com. Or mug your local fourth grader, they're sure to have a copy.
As I mentioned on Wednesday, the trailer for Planet of the Apes is also out, and now you can get pristine QuickTime versions over at the trailers section of my friend, and yours, Apple.com. While you're there, check out this really bizarre trailer for reality TV gone horribly wrong. Frightening.
So, I hope those items satisfy your hunger until Monday. Probably a little more filling for those of you on dialup connections. Enjoy!
Dan Moren wishes they had accepted his Study Abroad proposal for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Quote of the Day: "So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
-Ron Livingston, Office Space
